Fuzzi Factory Outlet is a company specialized in knitwear. It was founded in 1954 by Adele Bacchiani Fuzzi in San Giovanni in Marignano, at the outskits of Cattolica ( Rimini). At the beginning the collections were created by their founder with handlooms and distributed on the Italian market by sales representatives.
In the 70’s, Anna Maria Fuzzi, Adele bacchiani’s daughter, after her graduation, took on the leadership of the company with a staff of designers and she started to sell her products abroad. From then on, her career was always successful.
One of the most important events is when she created her first collection Jean-Paul Gaultier, in 1983.
In 1989 the company cooperated with Joop! and in 1993 with Hugo Boss. In 2000, opened a factory in Baragiano in Basilicata. In the same year had a turnover of 40 millions of euros. In 2002 had 160 employees. In 2003, launched the new brand Garbino, a line of knitwear for men and took over Sima Fashion, a company that had the property of some fashion brands like Nani Bon, Fiume, Sevres and Portobellos. Nowadays Fuzzi exports the 95% of the production (80 % in Europe). Fuzzi still prefers particolar markets: France, Germany, England, United States and Japan.
